The Clark Atlanta University Histology Core Facility (HCF) provides quality histology service including processing tissue blocks, preparing blank slides, tissue immunostaining and imaging, fixed and living cell imaging, data analysis, as well as training members of various laboratories on how to perform immunostaining and operation of imaging systems and other histological instruments. HCF maintains Carl Zeiss Axio Imager.Z1 microscopy with Apotome, Carl Zeiss Axiovert 200M inverted microscope, Carl Zeiss LSM 700 confocal microscopy, Leica LMD6000 Laser microdissection microscope, DAKO Autostainer Link 48, and Leica Aperio VERSA 8.
