The RCMI Translational Research Network is pleased to announce the hiring of Ms. Alnida M. Ngare, CCRP, MHSA, to serve as the Director of Clinical Data Services and Informatics (CDS&I) and Mr. Olayinka Onabanwo as Senior Clinical Data Manager.
As Director of CDS&I, Ms. Ngare is responsible for ensuring all data management activities for RTRN collaborative research and clinical trials are completed in a timely and accurate manner and leading the evaluation and implementation of data management technologies, processes, sourcing, and strategies. She ensures clinical trial management plans are prepared and approved within established deadlines, complying with all applicable project and global standards; ensures that study documentation across sites are kept current, readily accessible, and compliant with global documentation standards, and ensures Data Sciences activities, processes and technologies are fully integrated and meet all applicable project and global standards and expectations
Ms. Ngare, a certified clinical research professional, has more than 20 years of experience in clinical data management. She has 18 years as a team leader working on Phase 1-3 oncology trials. She has worked for leading pharmaceutical companies and CROs including Novartis, PRA International, Abbott, Covidien, Ingenix (i3), and Ortho Clinical diagnostics. Her therapeutic areas of expertise include Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, Multiple Sclerosis, Oncology, Cardiovascular, Gastrointestinal, Hematology, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Psoriasis.
Mr. Onabanwo will perform all data management activities assigned by the director to
include CRF development, database set-up activities, and SAE reconciliation. He will assist with the coordination of data cut and listings necessary to support Data Management Board review; coordinate activities of related functions and department as necessary to meet DM deliverables and work closely with the site teams to implement standard operating procedures.
Mr. Onabanwo has eight years of experience in the Pharmaceutical and CRO industry and five years handling duties associated with Phase 1-3 Oncology and Cardiovascular trials. He served three years as team leader working with Clinical Data Coordinators, Clinical Research Associates and investigators. His professional experience has been focused in Oncology, respiratory, transplant and Cardiovascular therapeutic areas.
