Other Funding Opportunities

  • AHA Announces Summer Research Funding Deadlines, Encourages Minority Investigators
  • The American Heart Association sets National Research Program dollar goals to support under-represented minorities applicants. Low submission rates by minority candidates could make reaching this goal a challenge, so the AHA particularly encourages African-Americans, Native Americans and Hispanics/Latinos to apply.
Program information has been posted for the next deadlines in July at AHA Funding Opportunities All American Heart Association programs are open to basic, clinical, and population researchers, with numerous study sections devoted to each.
