Portal Password Management

In this “Portal Password Management” instruction, it shows you how to efficiently manage your Portal password. By defining Password Reset Hint as described in Section I, you can reset your portal password by yourself when you forget it. However, if you have not defined your Password Reset Hint, you need to submit a Portal password reset request when you forget your Portal password.

We highly suggest our Portal users to define their “Portal Password Reset Hint”, and you will easily reset your portal password when you forget it.

Define Portal Password Reset Hint

1. Login RTRN Portal from here
   
   

2. Under “Links”, click on “User Profile”
   
   

3. Click on “My Profile”
   
   

4. Click on “Change my Password”
   
   

5. Locate “Password Reset” section
   
   

6. In the “Password Reset Hint” field, enter your password reset hint, such as “What’s your favorite movie?”, then enter your answer in the “Answer to Password Reset Hint” field.

7. After you click on “Submit”, you should see “Password Reset Hint was successfully changed!” message, then click on “OK”.
   
   

8. Now you are back to previous “Password Reset” page
   
   

Reset Portal Password

1. If you have already defined your “password reset hint” as described in the "Define Portal Password Reset Hint" section above, when you forget your Portal password, you can click here to reset your Portal password yourself.

2. Enter your User Name, then click on “Next”
   
   

3. Enter you answer that you defined in step 6, then click on “Next”
    
   
   You will be asked to provide a new password, and confirm your new password. Then click on “Finish”.  Please note: your new password must be at least 8 characters and contain at least 2 numeric characters, here is the Portal Password Policy.
   
   

4. You should get “Successfully reset your password” message, click on “OK”
   
   

5. After you click on “OK”, you are back to Self-Service Console login window. This is different from the Portal Login. For Portal Login, please click here.
   
   

Request Portal Password Reset

If you have not defined your portal password reset hint as it is described in the "Define Portal Password Reset Hint" section above, click here to submit a Portal password reset request electronically.
