Bio: Dr. Huan Xie, Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Texas Southern University was recently awarded a NIH-SC3 grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The project title “Development of a Novel Nanoconstruct Based Photothermal Therapy for Tumor Hypoxia” received funding of $453,000 for four years.
