RTRN History

In February 2002, a consortium of 18 RCMI institutions convened to discuss creation of the RCMI Translational Research Network. They envisioned a network that would conduct, for the first time in history, highly structured multi-site studies focusing on minority populations at minority institutions generating results that could be translated to major health benefits to all patients.
