The RTRN Data Technology Coordinating Center (DTCC) was established in July 2007 at Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi. The highly-computerized, state-of-the-art coordinating center maintains information systems and technologies to centralize multi-site study data and facilitate collaborative research initiatives for the RCMI research community.

The DTCC consists of five divisions:  Clinical Data Management & Informatics, Biostatistics, Information Security and Technology Integration (ISTI), Communications and Program Coordination/Administration.  Work groups comprised of DTCC personnel and representatives from the various RCMI research centers offer additional expertise and support to facilitate research projects and professional development.
