The Data Technology Coordinating Center (DTCC) serves as the hub of RCMI Translational Research Network (RTRN) to facilitate the sharing of research tools and information technology resources across the Network. The DTCC maintains a web portal that provides a user-friendly interface allowing access to collaboratory and clinical tools that are critical to centralizing study data. The DTCC has a coordinated clinical data management system for the collection, storage, management and analysis of data from multiple sites to support the clinical and biomedical research activities of the RTRN.

  
 

The RTRN Data Technology Coordinating Center (DTCC) is located in the Mississippi e-Center at Jackson State University and has over 6,500 square feet of dedicated space with redundant high-speed internet connections and Network infrastructure.

  A scalable service-oriented architecture supports clinical research while an Internet2-based network will allow sharing of basic research data (e.g., imaging/molecular modeling, genomic/protenomic data), accessing high-end instrumentation and support inter-institutional educational activities (e.g., video access grid, sharepoint).
